JAKARTA, March 16. 2018 After successfully organizing Prodia Healthy Fun Festival 2017, Prodia will hold Prodia Healthy Festival 2018 (HFF). Prodia HFF will be held in five big cities, namely Jakarta, Medan, Surabaya, Yogyakarta, and Bandung. Prodia Healthy Fun Festival was officially opened by Indriyanti Rafi Sukmawati as the Business Director and Marketing of PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk in a conference held in Jakarta on 16 March 2018.
In addition, Prodia also gave the donations from the participants of #Letscheckup program in the opening of Prodia HFF 2018, as a series of Prodia HFF pre-event in 2017. Prodia HFF 2017 had invited 795 youths to do medical check-up and successfully distributed their donations. Rachmat Wishnu Hidayat, SpKO distributed the donations to Lupus Foundation of Indonesia represented by Nur Husna.
Indiyanti stated that Prodia HFF 2017 distributed the donations to Lupus Foundation of Indonesia, because Prodia realizes that Lupus, the 1000 faces disease, is one of autoimmune diseases. This disease is characterized by excessive production of antibody, which causes inflammation and damages the body tissues. Moreover, symptoms of Lupus are commonly not specific, thus the education on this disease is important for the society. Therefore, the donation serves as the support from Prodia Clinical Laboratory to Lupus Foundation of Indonesia, which has educated the society on the importance of realizing the common symptoms of lupus and taken part in helping the lifesyle management of People with Lupus (Odapus).
"Our purpose is not giving values, but, more than that, we aim to show our care to the people in Lupus Foundation of Indonesia. I hope that this support can bring goodness for all of us. Together, we always encourage Indonesian people to live a healthy lifestyle," Indriyanti said.
Nur Husana from Lupus Foundation of Indonesia appriciated this support. "We thank Prodia for supporting us. Hopefully this donation can be useful for the Odapus in Lupus Foundation of Indonesia." she said.
According to the data of the Ministry of Health in 2016, the population of young people is 62,977.,392, or about 24.3% of the total population of Indonesian. However, the question is, how many young people in the data already have a healthy lifestyle. A health company in England found that more than 60,000 medical procedure which was traditionally given to the older people in 2015, is now searched by the youths between the age of 25-45. With its concern on this condition, Prodia had organized an event targeting young people to educate and raise their awareness of the importance of maintaining health since 2010. One of them is Prodia Healthy Fun Festival (HFF).
Through the HFF Prodia event, Prodia wants to remind the youth to adopt a healthy lifestyle and start doing preventive actions in the midst of an instant lifestyle. There are some steps to start healthy lifestyles, such as maintaining a healthy diet, regular exercise, take enough rest, and good stress management. However, regular medical check-up is needed to complete those steps. This can be a screening step to identify any disease.
"We hope that this Healthy Fun Festival event can develop the youth' s awareness of the importance of healthy lifestyle since the early age. Thus, they can avoid any disease which can cause any risk in their body. This risk prevention can be completed by having medical check-up regularly to ensure that they don' t have any risk disease. The young generations are the targets of Prodia, because they are the future leaders of this country. Therefore, Prodia realized that educating and reminding the young generations of the importance of check up and healthy lifestyle is essential." The support for the young generation is not only realized through the events which directly invites young people to a healthy lifestyle. Prodia, itself has designed test panel for the youth. The design has been inspired by the youth' s needs and lifestyle. This test panel is called Young Generations panel.
The series of Prodia Healthy Fun Festival 2018 will be opened in Yogyakarta on 24 March 2018 and will be followed by Medan on 8 April 2018, Surabaya on 21 April 2018, Bandung on 28 April 2018, and will be closed in Jakarta on 5 May 2018.
