Highly Committed to GCG Implementation, Prodia Wins TOP GRC Awards 2021 and The Most Committed GRC Leader 2021

JAKARTA, 7 October 2021 – PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (Stock code: PRDA) has received appreciation for the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), risk management system and high level of compliance to prevailing regulations. Prodia wins the TOP Governance Risk Compliance (GRC) Awards 2021 and the President Director of Prodia Dewi Muliaty is selected as The Most Committed GRC Leader 2021. The TOP GRC Awards event is held annually by Top Business magazine in collaboration with various related parties including the Indonesia Risk Management Professional Association (IRMAPA), the Indonesian Compliance Professional Institute (ICoPI), and Academics from the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Universitas Padjadjaran Bandung.

President Director of Prodia Dewi Muliaty said, “We are grateful for the appreciation given by the assessment team to the implementation of the GRC system in Prodia. We are committed to continuing to apply GCG principles consistently, ensuring the risk management system runs well, and complying with applicable regulations in conducting the Company's business activities. The TOP GRC Awards 2021 event opened with a GRC Summit seminar from Michael Rasmussen on GRC Analyst & Pundit with the topic of Agility Amid at Chaotic World and Top Sharing from the Chairperson of the GRC Association Achmad Daniri with the topic of Strengthening the Strategic Role of the GRC during the Pandemic. Furthermore, the Head of Organizing Report M. Lutfi Handayani, MM., MBA; Report of the Chairman of the Jury Dr. Antonius Alijoyo; and the Keynote Speech of the Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Ir. Airlangga Hartarto, MBA, MMT.

Companies that get the TOP GRC Awards 2021 are companies that already have a complete GRC system and infrastructure in terms of GCG implementation, Risk Management, and Compliance Management to support sustainable business growth, especially during the COVID 19 Pandemic. System, infrastructure, and the implementation of GCG, Risk Management, and Compliance Management at Prodia, is at a very good level, so that it can support continuous improvement of the company's business performance, including during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In addition, the President Director of Prodia Dewi Muliaty also received an award for The Most Committed GRC Leader 2021. This award is given to the Top Business Leader or President Director/CEO in a company who is considered to have a high commitment in supporting the completeness of the system and infrastructure as well as the successful implementation of the GRC in the company.

Currently, Prodia has a Risk Management Committee whose task is to identify and evaluate the effectiveness and consistency of the Company's risk management activities in order to mitigate the risks faced by the Company in running its business. All risks are monitored and an appropriate treatment plan is carried out to overcome them. Furthermore, from the results of the evaluation, recommendations are made for the follow-up of risk management activities in the future.

The Corporate Governance Committee at Prodia also continues to monitor the implementation of Corporate Governance in accordance with the provisions of prevailing laws and regulations and the ASEAN CG Scorecard standards and OJK Guidelines, provide recommendations on the improvement and completeness of GCG implementation and conduct studies on GCG best practices to be implemented in the Company.

Previously, in May 2021, Prodia also won the Best Disclosure & Transparency award for the issuer category with a medium market capitalization (Mid Cap) at the 12th IICD Corporate Governance Awards organized by the Indonesian Institute for Corporate Directorship (IICD) at the Financial Hall, Jakarta. IICD Corporate Governance Awards is an award ceremony for issuers and listed companies that have implemented good corporate governance (GCG) practices in the previous year and are not related to serious cases that are contrary to GCG principles.
