PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (“Company”) believes that education is one of the most important elements in improving the quality of life. Since established 45 years ago, Prodia has been contributing to advancing research and medical science development, including, especially, the development of medical laboratory in Indonesia.
Prodia Education and Research Institute (PERI) was founded on 14 July 2016 to serve as the best center of research and education on medicine and health. In carrying out its mission, PERI takes part in supporting research development on medicine and health through providing scholarships for researchers (Diploma, Bachelor, Master, and Doctorate degrees), research funds, as well as training, seminar, and workshop.
The Indonesian Biomedical Journal
The Indonesian Biomedical Journal contains various researches and reviews on biomedicine development. The Indonesian Biomedical Journal has been officially listed as Scopus indexed journal.
In addition, Prodia has also provided some newest information on medical science and laboratory for doctors and people through Forum Diagnosticum, and Laboratory Information for doctors, seminar or talkshow, scientific discussion, and medical workshop for both doctors and general public.
Since 1991, Prodia has supported more than 3,000 researches and worked on more than 400 new tests for the research. By 2017, Prodia has executed a MoU with 30 well-known universities in Indonesia consisting of 28 Faculties of Medicine, 1 Institute of Science and Technology, and 1 Faculty of Pharmacy. This collaboration is aimed to develop educational activities and researches, specially in the biomedicine in Indonesia.
Celebrating Prodia’s 45th Anniversary in 2018, the Company has also donated 450 computers to a number of schools and institutions or social foundations surrounding the Company’s operational area.
