Prodia Introduces Healthy Aging Development in Prodia Scientific Day

JAKARTA, 5 MARCH 2019 - To respond to the knowledge and technology development, Prodia must keep innovating. Thus, through the spirit of Centre of Excellence, Prodia held Prodia Scientific Day employing the theme of “Healthy Aging: More Than Just Lifespan”. Prodia Scientific Day has been annually organized as a means for sharing of knowledge between Prodia and its stakeholders.

Prodia Scientific Day has been organized since 2016. This annual event facilitates the scientists and physicians of Prodia to share the latest information and discuss on the researches conducted, both by Prodia or physicians or scientists working in collaboration with Prodia.

This year, Prodia Scientific Day was held at Auditorium of Prodia Tower on Tuesday, 5 March 2019. It was attended by more than 100 participants, including medical professionals of various expertise in Indonesia such as endocrinology, midwifery and gynecology, internal medicine, hepatology, clinical pathology, and others. There were 10 interesting scientific topics presented in the event. Additionally, there was an exhibition of scientific posters illustrating the results of researches conducted by the scientists of Prodia focusing on knowledge, technology, and healthy aging development including the tests required, and the results of researches conducted by Masyarakat Ilmiah Prodia (Prodia’s Scientific Community).

“Since a long time ago, people have always been trying to prolong their lifespan and stay young. But, there are many people who live up to the old age cannot enjoy their lives due to illnesses. Responding to that matter, Anti-Aging Medicine aiming not only to prolong life but also to realize healthy aging is now being developed,” said Dewi Muliaty, Managing Director of Prodia.

Dewi hoped that through Prodia Scientific Day, the medicine having been developed or to be developed by Prodia can be distributed to the entire internal team as well as the doctors using Prodia’s services. It is in line with the Prodia’s vision to become the Center of Excellence and the Next Generation Healthcare Provider.

“We also hope that Prodia Scientific Day will boost the spirit of Agility to Create Values for Prodia’s development team in creating innovations beneficial for the customers,” Dewi concluded.

Apart from the presentations delivered by those experts of their respective fields, Prodia Scientific Day also organized an exhibition of posters indicating the results of researches conducted by the scientists of Prodia. Some of the posters are from the winners of both national and international congresses.
