Prodia Launches Prodia Senior Health Center, A Reliable and Leading Geriatric Health Service Center in Indonesia

JAKARTA, December 12, 2017 - PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (stock code: PRDA) launches Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) as a reliable geriatric health service center in Indonesia. The establishment of Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) is an initiative of Prodia in providing quality healthcare services for elderly customers with the aim of improving stamina in their age, thus avoiding degenerative diseases or complications.

Based on data from the National Socioeconomic Survey 2014, the population of elderly people in Indonesia is about 20 million people, or equivalent to 8.03% of the total population of Indonesia. The number is expected to grow to 40 million by 2030. The proportion of the elderly population is expected to increase by 13% by 2025 and 25% by 2050.

President Director of Prodia, Dewi Muliaty, said "Prodia Senior Health Center provides special healthcare facilities and services specifically for elderly customers so that they can always be healthy, active and independent. We hope Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) can be a reliable and leading center of geriatric health services in Indonesia," explained Dewi, in Jakarta, 12/12.

The Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) provides healthcare services for elderly customers including health counseling and healthy living behaviors, early health screening of elderly customers, treatment of elderly patients, physiotherapy and medical rehabilitation services, acupuncture, vaccinations, and consultation with specialist doctors, such as internal medicine physicians, geriatric consultants, acupuncturists, and medical rehabilitation specialists. In addition, the Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) is also equipped with home care services, and senior health activities such as gymnastics, brain games, and make crafts.

Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) is designed with convenient facilities for elderly customers. In the future, PSHC plans to develop dementia care. Dementia is a decrease in the ability of brain function, and is known to be the fourth cause of death after heart disease, cancer and stroke. Based on Alzheimer' s Disease International, in 2015, Indonesia is in the list of ten countries with the highest dementia in the world and in Southeast Asia with the estimated number of people with dementia of 1.2 million people.

"Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) started its services by focusing on providing ProHealthy Brain packages as one of the preventive action for dementia. ProHealthy Brain Package consists of medical treatment with doctor, cognitive function tests, comprehensive laboratory tests and other supporting tests, " said Nelly Sari, Project Manager of Prodia Senior Health Center. Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) also provides other diagnostic services such as EKG, radiology (rontgen) and Bone Mineral Density Scan.

In the next five years, Prodia plans to open the Prodia Senior Health Center (PSHC) in Surabaya, Semarang, Medan and Makassar, to provide healthcare services for elderly customers. According to the National Socioeconomic Survey in 2014, Central Java and East Java are provinces with the largest proportion of elderly people each at 11.11% and 10.96%, respectively.

In the third quarter of 2017, Prodia successfully recorded a revenue increase by 10.17% to Rp1.04 trillion, compared to Rp945.65 billion in the third quarter of 2016. This significant revenue growth is considered above the average compared to the one within the retail sector in general. The Company' s net income increased by 238% to Rp98.91 billion, compared to Rp29.22 billion in 2016. In the third quarter of 2017, the total assets reached Rp1.86 trillion.

Up to 2020, Prodia will build around 34 clinical laboratory including specialty clinics consist of Prodia Children' s Health Centre (PCHC), Prodia Women' s Health Centre (PWHC) dan Prodia Senior Health Centre (PSHC).
