Officially Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, Prodia to Complete Its Network throughout Indonesian Provinces

Jakarta, 7 December 2016 - PT Prodia Widyahusada Tbk (stock code: PRDA), the pioneer and the leader of the market of clinical laboratories in Indonesia, has issued its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and become the 15th issuer of the year or the 538th of the total issuers.
Prodia is listed on the stock exchange upon setting the price of Rp6,500 per share and having passed the general offering process on 30 November - 2 December 2016. The total released stocks amount to 187.5 million of stocks or equal to 20% of the total company stocks. Thus, by the IPO, Prodia has acquired the fund of Rp1.22 trillion.
The Managing Director of Prodia, Dewi Muliaty, pointed out that IPO is a strategic measure for Prodia in expanding the network and providing the best service to more people throughout the provinces in Indonesia. Therefore, Prodia manages to allocate the majority of fund acquired from the IPO to financing the network expansion and investment in the new generation of diagnostic technology equipment as well as the non-laboratory test equipment.
"We're grateful of all supports and trusts from everyone who allows the IPO of Prodia to get actualized and realized well today. Prodia is proud of being the first Indonesian clinical laboratory registered in the stock exchange with the stock open to public", stated Dewi Muliaty in the press conference upon the initial stock registration in the Indonesia Stock Exchange building, Jakarta, on Wednesday (12/7).
Dewi added that Prodia aimed to open up to 33 new clinical laboratories in the forthcoming 4 years. By this network expansion, it's expected that Prodia can be accessible throughout the 34 provinces of Indonesia. By the broader network of Prodia, the people of Indonesia may expect the best solution for the needs of health diagnosis that increases currently.

The stocks for the managers and employees
The Marketing Director/Corporate Secretary of Prodia, Indriyanti R. Sukmawati stated that along with the IPO, Prodia held the Employee Stock Allocation (ESA) program by allocating up to 3,750,000 sheets of share or 2% of the stocks offered by the company and also Management and Employee Stock Option Plan/MESOP amounting to 14,062,500 or 1.5% of the capital stored by the company.
"The ESA and MESOP are the measures taken by the company to appreciate the managers and the employees for their contributions in developing and growing Prodia. We believe that this policy will increase the sense of belonging in the managers and employees, thus expected to improve the corporate value," she said.
The Financial Director of Prodia, Liana Kuswandi stated that 67% of the fund acquired from the IPO, reaching Rp 1.22 trillion, will be allocated to develop and expand Prodia's outlet networks in Indonesia, both in the existing markets and in the potential ones. An amount of 19% will be spent to strengthen the company's capability and service quality by the purchases of (i) equipment of the newest generation diagnostic technology, which will step up Prodia's services to support individual treatment that has been the growing trend in the global clinical laboratory industry, (ii) equipment for non-laboratory examinations and (iii) information technology equipment and/or devices. As much as 14 percent of the remaining fund will be utilized to strengthen the work capital.
Until the first semester of 2016, Prodia has recorded its income amounting to Rp648.6 billion in value, signifying a 9.7% growth from Rp591 billion in the same period in 2015. As per 30 June 2016, Prodia's total asset amounted to Rp588 billion. Prodia's EBITDA amounted to Rp100 billion with EBITDA margin of 15.5%.
The best financial performance of Prodia is supported by the services throughout Indonesia. As of 30 June 2016, Prodia has 251 outlets, 128 of which are clinical laboratories and more than 3,600 employees with over 230 doctors as the working partners, spread in 104 cities and 30 provinces. Prodia Clinical Laboratory is a referral center for most hospitals and other clinical laboratories in all Indonesia, especially when it comes to special laboratory tests.
